SEDATION / SLEEP DENTISTRY

If you experience anxiety or claustrophobia during dental procedures we offer a safe, effective and painless solution. Sedation dentistry is a pharmaceutical solution. Our medical professionals will prescribe a mild hypnotic. This pill is taken one hour prior to the procedure. You will need assistance from a friend or family member to escort you to the office and home. During the procedure you will be conscious but in a mild hypnotic state. Patients experience a relaxing and carefree state of mind during and after procedures. We will also offer iv sedation in the office by a dental anesthesiologist and general anesthesiology in a nearby surgicenter for advanced procedures.

People often desire sedation for longer procedures as in full mouth reconstruction, although available for any procedure regardless of the duration.
